What is Product Battles?
Product Battles is a site in which various similar products are pitted against each other, and visitors vote to determine which is the better product. Battles can be anything from best compact camera to best prison movie. Each week, a featured battle takes place in which one person who votes for the winning product will be given that product. Battles will take place on a weekly basis and battler's statistics will be recorded in the battler league.
Free stuff! What's the catch?
As much as I'd like to say there's a catch unfortunately, there's not. We don't have people trying to haXorz into your computer while you're surfing the site and we're not stealing your credit card numbers.
If you're not stealing my credit card, how are you able to give out free stuff?
We are able to make back the costs of our giveaways via our sponsors and our ads. A great deal of the support comes from our existing sites raidmyspace.com and rnbhaven.com, which allow us to provide free stuff in hopes of boosting visitors to those sites.
A free movie? That's it? Can't you at least give away something cool?
The first giveaway is a test run and we hope to increase the quality and quantity of the giveaways as time goes on. If you have any ideas or suggestions about future giveaways or future battles post your suggestions on the forum.
Okay, I understand that I can win free stuff, how do I do it?
You can win stuff in a variety of ways from Product Battles. First, you must sign up for an account, but don't worry, the process only requires you to make a username/password and to provide an email address. Each week we will have a featured battle Which you can vote for the product you think is better. If you vote correct, you're entered into a raffle to win, and will be notified of your status. If you don't find much success this way, you can also win free stuff through the battle league. Every member is part of the battle league and each month, we give the best battler and worst battler a prize.
Battle Ranks? What's that?
The battle ranks is your standings in battles. Each battle you participate in will contribute to your score, with wins giving you two points and losses taking one away. Players will be ranked based on their score, so the more battles one participates in, the better chance one has of rising to the top, or falling to the bottom.
Most sites that give away free stuff require lots of effort, or at the least, a lot of personal information. What can we expect from Product Battles?
Product Battles prides itself in the ease of getting free stuff. Joining requires only a few seconds and battling simply involves clicking on one of the two products in each battle. The winner will be notified by email at the end of the week, at which time he or she must provide a mailing address for the prize to be sent to. No other personal information is required, and no one needs to give their address unless they win a prize.
Why should I trust you?
What do you have to lose? It only takes moments to register and battle. We hope that after the first battles, we will be able to have winners provide photos of their success, offering more evidence of our merit.
